Redmi K100 to feature a Snapdragon 8 series chipset, per a Geekbench listing

A Geekbench listing points to the Redmi K100 running a Snapdragon 8 series chip, and that is the juicy part. For a phone fans have been waiting on, a flagship chip is exactly what they want to hear.

So far only one source has carried it, and nothing official on the chip has come out yet. Benchmark entries can carry placeholder or mislabelled names, so this one reads as a strong hint, not a done deal.

What settles it is an official spec sheet or a launch event where the chip name finally appears on the brand's own slide.
